Why Hire The Young Firm for Your Camp Lejeune Claim?
Your Camp Lejeune claim will require a law firm that stands out in several areas:
Real Litigators for Real Cases
Camp Lejeune claims involve serious, often complex diseases. The treatment some of our clients have received for their primary disease of bladder cancer has caused secondary diseases and illnesses. Your law firm must understand such complexity and be ready to argue that all your illnesses are properly related to your toxic water exposure at Camp Lejeune. We understand this issue. For more than 30 years our firm has helped individuals with brain injuries, burns, amputations, and other catastrophic injuries.
Additionally, our attorneys are ‘real’ attorneys. We spend the vast majority of our time in Federal Courts. Under the Camp Lejeune Justice Act any claim not resolved during the administrative process must then be filed in Federal Court. Some attorneys have never appeared in any Federal Court. Our attorneys have appeared in numerous Federal Courts across the country.
A Firm That Communicates with You
This may sound basic but one of the must have requirements for your Camp Lejeune law firm is that they actually communicate with you on a regular basis. Some firms are trying to handle twenty, thirty or even forty thousand claims! We often receive calls from clients at these firms who say they can’t get in touch with their attorney, and that they ‘haven’t heard from anyone’ since they signed their contract.
In addition to emails and text messages we send you when your claim is filed, when the claim is perfected by the Navy and when we formally obtain medicals records, review them and verify your diseases or illnesses, we routinely send out other emails to update you on all aspects of your claim. We also have a monthly paper newsletter on all general Camp Lejeune updates that is mailed each to every one of our clients.
A Firm That Makes It Easy for You
This is your claim, and it is our honor to represent you. It’s about you, not us. We routinely call our clients at night and on weekends if that works best for their schedule. We also use secure online upload links to allow you to send important documents quickly and easily to us, or we send postage prepaid mailers so that paper documents can be sent to us by simply dropping them in the mail. Filing your Camp Lejeune claim should not be another frustrating and horrible experience for you. We will make the process as easy as possible for you.
Experience with Multiple Claimant Cases
We have dealt with multiple claimant cases many times in the past including individuals who suffered strokes and heart damage due to the prescription medication Vioxx, hundreds of oil field workers exposed to asbestos in drilling mud who suffered cancers and other injuries, and multiple families injured due to improper pesticide application on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We currently represent hundreds of military veterans and civilian contractors who experienced hearing damage due to faulty ear protection provided by 3M.
A Firm You Can Trust
In every serious injury case there comes a time in the case when the client ultimately has trust their law firm and its expertise and recommendations. Without this trust most clients will feel unsure about their claim and certainly not comfortable with the outcome. Our clients place tremendous trust in us, and we are proud of this trust. Being a lawyer is about more than the law, it’s also about counseling and helping clients through a tough uncertain experience with the court system. You can read here what our past clients have said about their experience with us.
